MrWorry The First World War is one of my favorite periods of history. I had one story set during that period published in fall of 2024. The ghoul story I mentioned above is now out to a few magazines to see if I can place it.
I don’t know why WWI interests more than WWII. My father was actually in WWII (a medic) but my fascination shifted over the years.
And yes, it’s a great setting for Call of Cthulhu!
